I read one of his essays in the book Wine and Philosohpy where Grahm states:
“In wine as well as virtually every other domain, we tend to make snap judments and not look past the blatantly obviouswe value style over substance, surface over depth. How else to explain the phenomenon of Keanu Reeves or of California merlot? ‘Modern’ New World style wines is to Old World classics what Keanu Reeves is to Laurence Olivier or what watching television is to reading books.”
